Books Group collaborations spark a series of books on mountain management and protection issues At the 2004 World Conservation Congress in Bangkok, the Mountain PA Network celebrated the launch of two books produced as outputs from their Drakensberg Workshop prior to the World Parks Congress in 2003 (see below). Another book on the subject of Large Scale Conservation Connectivity (Conservation Corridors) Management is currently in development by the Network, and will be published in 2006. Edited by Mountain PA Network members David Harmon and Graeme Worboys and published in 2004 by Andromeda Editrice, Italy. This book can be purchased directly from Andromeda Editrice The Russian Edition was translated by Mountain PA Network member Dr. Yuri P. Badenkov and published in 2005. It is available through Dr. Badenkov at the Institute of Geography, Russian Academy of Science. |
